The VFDA/Marketplace Health Plan provides VFDA members with a great opportunity to save.

 

The open-enrollment period through January 15th is your chance to get on board. This is a

no-risk proposition. If we are successful in forming a premium pool, VFDA members have the potential to enjoy discounts over the current community rates.

 

Some of you have asked if this is similar in any way to the VOHI Workers Compensation Trust or to self-insured health insurance programs—it is not. This is traditional insurance provided by Blue Cross/ Blue Shield or MVP, the same way it is provided to you now but with the potential for significant savings.
