Fuel Oil Tanks    — Beatrice Room

Vermont’s new Tank Regulations impact all aboveground heating oil and kerosene tanks. The regulations create an inspection schedule, require an inspection on first fill, and list violations which would require a fuel oil tank to be red tagged. Find out who can certify tanks and take home examples of marketing materials available for free to help oilheat companies communicate the new regulations to their customers.  Learn about new software solutions that allows your technicians to quickly and easily complete tank inspections on any mobile device or tablet and log it into a database for your company.

Federal Funding and Regulations — Stuart Room

The Trump administration has proposed significant changes to the way the federal government funds programs and enforces regulations that could impact heating fuel dealers. Among the issues covered will be medical exams, driver training, hours of service, propane tank re-certification, hazmat placards, EPA funding, and much more.  This seminar will also review the Vermont Occupation Health and Safety Administration (VOSHA) workplace standards as they relate to fuel distributors. We will cover common VOSHA violations as well as written programs, employee training, record keeping and monitoring requirements.
