The Vermont Fuel Dealers Association (VFDA) is a non-profit trade organization that serves as an advocate and resource for companies that sell heating oil, BioHeat®, diesel, biodiesel, kerosene, wood pellets, and propane. VFDA Members also include non-fuel companies that sell, install and service heating equipment.

VFDA’s mission is to advance the use of heating fuels and heating equipment, to promote the standards of installing and servicing of heating equipment, and to deliver educational programs to meet the needs of nearly 250 members. VFDA is the leading provider of training for heating technicians in Vermont.

Founded in 1963 as the Vermont Oilheat Institute (VOHI), VFDA changed its name in 2001 after merging with the Vermont Propane Gas Association (VPGA).
